When is the best time to book a newborn session?
The best time to book a newborn session is while you are expecting. I only take a limited number of newborns per month. I schedule these sessions while baby is 2-4 weeks but I have done babies up to 3 months newborn style.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am located in Port Saint Lucie. I do travel but there is a travel fee.
When will we get our photos?
My processing time is 10-15 business days from the date you make your final image selections. Selection galleries are delivered within 5-7 business days. If you need images for a birthday or event that occurs before my processing time please let me know at the time of booking your appointment so that I may confirm if this is possible. If you ask for something rushed the day of your session I will refer you back to the rush fee option. Everyone has a special request. Unfortunately, it is impossible to accommodate every one, all of the time.
In addition; If it takes you over 7 days to make your final selections please understand that this will definitely impact your processing time. This will add a minimum of 10-15 business days to my normal processing time (20-30 business days total on average). Therefore, I encourage you to make your selections as quickly as possible to avoid prolonging delivery time. I prioritize processing in the order final selections are made not in the order of session date. The longer you take to make your selections the longer it will take me to process your final gallery. This rarely happens; but when it does, it impacts me. Therefore, I ask that you give me the same patience you received in the event that you find yourself in this position.
Do I have to bring props?
No, I provide all props for your session.
How soon should I book my childs birthday session?
Ideally you want to contact me 2+ months before your childs birthday so that I may schedule your childs session 4 weeks before his or her birthday. I do have last minute openings from time to time so don't hesitate to reach out if the time frame is under 1-2 months. I do occasionally have last minute availability so don't hesitate to reach out.
What themes do you offer for birthday sessions?
When you book a themed session there is no themed limit. Meaning you can pick any theme in your imagination and I will bring it to life.
Do I have to bring outfits for my childs session?
I provide all outfits for newborn sessions and I have some options available for use for babies age 6-12+ months as well as older girls. Use of these dresses depends on the package selected.
What happens if I have to cancel my session?
If for any reason you have to cancel your session I would work with you to reschedule. If rescheduling right away is not an option you may use your retainer towards a future session as long as a minimum of 2 days notice is provided. Themed sessions do require extensive set up and planning. These sessions would require a minimum of 4 days notice.
You will then have up to 3 months to reschedule your session. I advise you reschedule as quickly as possible.
Holiday sessions: These sessions are non-refundable & non- transferable. Cancellation of these sessions would result in a forfeit of your retainer. These sessions are very limited. Please understand that when cancelling these sessions the opportunity for someone else to book has been taken away.
Can I pay to have my images rushed?
Yes, my rush fee is $300. The images are delivered within 24 hours from the date the rush fee is paid. This is subject to availability.
What happens if I am running late?
If you are running more than 15 minutes late there is a $25 late fee. More than 30 minutes late there is a $50 late fee. More than $45 minutes late you would have to pay a $100 late fee. Over an hour late you would be required to pay another retainer fee. If I am unable to move forward with your session due to your late arrival you would lose the retainer amount paid and your session will be cancelled.
What if I get to my session early?
If you arrive more than 10 minutes early you must wait in your vehicle until the session start time.
What if I want more or less editing than your typical style? Or a different editing style?
This is my art therefore, the style you see in my work has been refined and fine tuned over the course of many years. I am definitely open to doing more or even less editing as you see fit, but this must be communicated before the editing process begins. If it is not communicated before the editing process begins there is a fee to make editing changes of $20 per image. Please understand that in order to make any change a gallery/image would have to be fully re-edited; meaning hours & hours of my time. Respectfully, If you find yourself questioning my style or leaning towards something different you should consider this before even booking with me.
Holiday session: Can I get dressed at the studio?
It is important that you arrive fully dressed and ready to shoot. These sessions are set for 1 hour. If you do not arrive dressed this will take away from your session time.
What if I don't want my pictures shared on social media?
If you do not want your pictures shared on my social media pages at all or before you post them you must make me aware of that at the time of booking. We have shared copyright meaning as the photographer I have the right to share images on my social media platforms as I wish. This is my art & sharing it is part of that. I typically will not work with clients who do not want images shared because it is hard to keep track and again I love sharing my work. I don't always share every session but if this is a concern for you it must be brought up before booking with me. I appreciate your understanding.
What if I would like to purchase additional images from my selection gallery after the images included in my package?
Additional images are $35 each.
Selection galleries/ raw images are solely for viewing purposes & are not included or provided. No exceptions.
